Absolutely no one's personal and/or financial information will be sold or traded knowingly by Desfrink and Co., LLC (parent company) dba: Glass by Des. All the information obtained by Desfrink and Co., LLC/Glass by Des is necessary to fill orders only and to inform the customer of upcoming products.
CUSTOM DESIGNS -
I would love to make a custom piece for you!!! A 25% non-refundable down payment is required to begin any custom design. Desfrink and Co., LLC/Glass by Des will need specifics for each glass design to be made and will provide e-mails and pictures of the progress. "Reasonable" corrections will be made if necessary.
ORDERING/PAYMENTS (VERY Important - Please Read) -
At this time, I accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, money orders and checks (there will be a waiting period of 5-10 days for the check to process and clear the bank before orders will be shipped). I sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause anyone. Returned checks will incur a $30.00 handling fee that will have to be paid before any order can be shipped. Orders placed online through the Shopping Cart feature DO NOT include the exact shipping cost, a non-refundable handling fee ($1.75) or applicable MN sales tax at the time the order is placed. The Shopping Cart is a way to receive your credit card and billing information securely.....the charges will be added at the time of shipping and that is when your credit card will be charged manually here in our office.
Please provide current and accurate shipping information and billing information.
Customers providing inaccurate credit card and/or billing information when completing the Shopping Cart process online or when buying at Events/Expos which causes the transaction to be declined will incur an additional $5.00 charge. Also, not until Desfrink and Co., LLC/Glass by Des can obtain the correct information for an order placed online, will the order be shipped. If items are purchased from Desfrink and Co., LLC/Glass by Des at an Event/Expo and the transaction is declined later by the customer - legal action can be and will be pursued if the situation cannot be corrected immediately without the additional help.
Most orders will be shipped** within 48-72 hours of receipt if the product is in stock. If the item is out of stock, Desfrink and Co., LLC/Glass by Des will contact the customer with an approximate date the item will be ready for shipping. Please e-mail or phone me for shipping charges to other destinations, shipping charges for larger quantities, if you would rather use express delivery or any other questions you may have. Also, feel free to contact me if you would like to know exact shipping charges before shipping and credit card being charged.
**I always research the most economical way to ship everyone's individual orders therefore I don't put an arbitrary price on the site (for example, shipping a $30.00 Wall Planter would cost more than shipping a $30.00 necklace due to weight. Also, shipping these pieces to California vs. somewhere located nearby would be a different price).
If any of the glass designs are damaged during shipping (ALL items are inspected before they are properly packaged and abundantly padded for shipping) and a replacement/refund*** is necessary - please call, e-mail or inform me in a letter before returning to explain the problem. Please do this within 30 days of receiving your order. Also, all returned products must be received at Desfrink and Co., LLC/Glass by Des before replacements will be shipped out. If for some reason, the order is returned UNOPENED***, there will be a $10.00 non-refundable restocking fee charged to the buyer (all shipping and handling charges will still stand and will not be refunded - only the cost of the product will be refunded and the additional $10.00 restocking fee will be charged - so PLEASE be sure you provide accurate billing and shipping information at the time you place your order to avoid these added costs).
***Shipping/handling will not be included in the refund amount agreed upon by Desfrink and Co., LLC/Glass by Des and the buyer. Also, Desfrink and Co., LLC/Glass by Des is not responsible for the shipping/handling charges incurred by the buyer to return the item.
GIFT CERTIFICATES (Available Soon) -
If ordering Gift Certificates only, please be sure to provide accurate shipping and billing information at the time of ordering. Desfrink and Co., LLC/Glass by Des will send the Gift Certificates to the continental USA area only (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) via USPS with no additional cost to the customer. Sending to other areas may incur additional charges to the customer, but I will be sure to contact you if this should be the case. Desfrink and Co., LLC/Glass by Des will not be responsible for lost Gift Certificates due to inaccurate shipping informationa provided by the customer. All Gift Certificates must be redeemed within 1 year of order date or they will expire and will be null and void.
